I put this together after my 2nd quarter of college, which was the quarter in which I took the final Flash class, which actually was almost completely about Actionscipt 3.0 rather than animation. But it allowed me to brush up on my animation skills and show off a bit in the classroom

I believe the portfolio animations and interface is animated better and is more seamlessly functional than the Flash stuff my portfolio is supposed to be showing off.

I programmed a functioning scripted camera for actionscript 3.0 for use in this portfolio, which isn't visible unless you're working in the fla. But if you download the swf and resize the window into a widescreen view, can may be able to see how my scripted camera works. I also tampered with the right-click menu, and some of you might notice that I reused my rain animation and frog.

Now, about the frog. When I first designed him, I designed him for animation. This was a great test to see the boundaries of his design. His legs in particular are very difficult to work with, but as long as my drawing skills are still good, I can animate his hands no problem. His hands were designed for frame-by-frame redraw animation with the pencil tool.

Most of the sound effects I have in this were obtained via flashkit.com. But the frog's grunting noises were just me having fun with my mic.

I don't think I have ever submitted any of my photoshop work, so the photoshop section of my portfolio may come as a slight surprise to anyone that actually pays attention to what I do
