So, I was at work today on break when one of my coworkers comes up to the break room and tells us the managers just had to throw a drunk out, and the bank in our store just got robbed. My reaction was: "We have a bank in this store? I had no idea!"

I think out of everyone in the store, only around 13 people by the end of the day knew the place got robbed. When you think of bank robberies, you usually think "Everyone on the floor, now!" but nope, this was so silent no one even noticed when walking past...

Kinda weird. The whole robbery thing didn't scare me like I'd expect it to. The only thing that made me fear anything that day was when I saw Nick, a particularly mean manager, with a gun. Why the police gave him a gun, I will never know... They obviously don't know him...

This week's normal quote is from when I was talking someone out of suicide. In the end, she said I was the first that didn't flat out tell her she was wrong and instead gave her a reason to value her own life.

"No, suicide is NOT what I was talking about. That's completely different. Giving up on life goes completely against my way of thinking. I believe I said something to you before about how I think people were put on this earth to help each other. It may be human nature to not ever be happy with what we have, and we always take things for granted, but that's what gives us the need to make ourselves better, and happier.
